In simple terms, a delivery server is just an external server that gives you access credentials in order to connect and send emails.
MAILgen Email Marketing will accept your credentials and will establish the connection so that you can send your emails.
You can use simple SMTP servers, Amazon SES, Mandrill/ElasticEmail/Etc accounts, Sendmail, Directory Pickup and PHP's mail function as delivery servers.
With bounce and FBL servers, things are simpler, the logic is the same, only that these servers are used to read your bounce/arf emails and take actions against them.
